AXILICA will be demonstrating the advanced capabilities of its product,  FalconML, at Innovate 2010 The Rational Software Conference (London, 12 October 2010). Innovate 2010 is the premier software and systems event that provides IBM’s customers with the opportunity to hear from IBM speakers, other customers, industry experts and IBM Business Partners

FalconML is a unique solution that enables the implementation of hardware (FPGAs, ASICs) directly from UML, using models describing hardware structure and behaviour alongside systems and software models.  FalconML enables users of the IBM® Rational® Rhapsody® UML modeling tool to fully describe complex embedded systems, using  FalconML to efficiently and rapidly generate hardware descriptions in VHDL, Verilog or SystemC from the UML models in Rhapsody®. The hardware-software co-design capability in  FalconML supports the partitioning of the UML models into hardware and software components within Rhapsody, providing a direct route to automatically generate hardware and software for deployment on complex embedded systems (for example, FPGAs with embedded processors)
