AXILICA and Abstract Solutions Collaborate to Provide Advanced UML-based Solutions and Services

AXILICA Limited announced today the signing of a collaboration agreement with Abstract Solutions Limited designed to deliver the UML® training, consultancy and modelling expertise offered by Abstract Solutions to companies adopting AXILICA’s UML-based behavioural synthesis solutions.

Companies developing complex embedded systems, in key market segments such as telecommunications and military aerospace, are adopting model-driven methodologies to reduce time-to-market and product development costs. UML-based methodologies, widely used in systems and software development, are being applied to hardware modelling and development, enabling use of a common language across systems, software and hardware. Abstract Solutions offers a mature, highly optimised system and software design process that, in conjunction with AXILICA’s UML–based behavioural synthesis solution for generating hardware, delivers an innovative and agile UML-based embedded systems development methodology.
